A few days ago my dad was driving the stang and came home and told me he doesn't feel like it shifts in to its highest gear on the freeway. I end up getting to about 70, and counting the shifts from a stand still i can only count 3.
Is there supposed to be a fourth? and at what speed or rpm does it shift at?
Timing wise, it will shift 1-2, it'll take about the same time to shift from 2-3 then you do expect it to shift from 3-4 but nothing happens it stays in 3rd.
Its an automatic 66' c4 with a 289 2bbl up front. all stock, never rebuilt.
