GEARS ARE IN!!

Is there a speedo gear that matches up to are cars with 3.73's?? I thought 3.55's was the highest you could go without the speedcal or something. Been waiting about 5 years now to get the gears I just want my speedometer to be exact.

No there isn't. The 23 tooth Chrysler gear is close but they tend to get chewed up fast. Some people have varying success.

I used a Brother's Speed Cal with my 4.10s and did it electronically. It was around 90 bucks.

I think Adam has some good things to say here :nice:

I went with the 23 tooth driven gear with no probs
however
My 95 is a weekend toy so I drive it rarely ;)

I've put just a bit over 10K on that 23 tooth gear since I made the swap

At the time I did my 373's ... the Speed Cal was not around

I do see about 1 to 2 mph faster readings around town
and
On the highway 3 to 4 mph faster readings depending upon the speed

I'll most likely go with a Speed Cal when I move up to 410's :)
