ill be getting the original motor that was in my dads blown 85 gt(now replaced with a 89 massair motor) for free, and im debating wether to use this to build or not. my motor is going soon, and i was going to go 351 carb swap, with the goal of mid 400hp, but the motor is free, and has very few miles(30k or so). i am still going carbed, so now i need suggestions to good combos to make close to my power goal. im thinking about n/a 347/331 semi-budget stroker, aluminium heads, holley 650dp and victor jr intake. can i make mid 400s with the above mods? anyone running a similar setup? should i run a custom or off the shelf cam?
