Well in a nut shell it looks like a have a seller for the 95 I haven't been on this side of the forum for a while since I didn't want to see all of your cars to help persuade me to keep mine. I don't want to sell but my wife and I are trying to start a family and I have the white car as a toy and REALLY don't need two at this time. I really did put alot of thought into this and it was a very tough decision as I said I would never sell the car but i'm just affraid i'll have the same regret I do with my old 89 coupe which brought me to this forum and this was actually the first one I signed up for. Thanks for all the help and i've owned the car for nearly 6 years already which I find hard to believe. It kinda sucks because it's 2:18am as I sit here and look at the clock and it's killing me to think about it, but hopefully the new owners will take care of her as they are a ford/mustang family as well. Here is how it's sat for about the last year and hasn't ran since fathers day of '08 And the car that brought me to this board 9 years ago this month Okay, sorry for all the pics i'm done.
Damn man! Sux to hear that you have to sell her but I too hope she goes to a good home. Looks like a super clean car but remember there will always be time for another one.
ssuch a shame to see my twin w/ chrome FR500s instead is going.. but it looks like you got your priorities in check and its an understandable move. plus u got that pretty little white thing in the driveway, im sure thatll hold you over JUST fine LOL... wish you and your wife the best of luck!
Very nice Stang Love the Pro Stars :Word: You need to do what you need to do I'd sell off the white Stang and keep the 95 as a week end toy Find a beater car or truck for daily transportation Really nice 95's like that are getting harder and harder to find Good Luck with your plans and all Grady
You've thought this through, and you're making the right choice. Starting a family is waaayyyy more important than a car. Your white one will serve you well as reliable transportation, and a sweet toy! As somebody who's on the other side of starting a family (just licensed my last kid, and am working as quickly as possible toward empty-nest time!), there will be a time for toys again. I gave up my 68 to start my family. 20+ years later, I'm back to playing with my Mustangs, and have a beautiful wife and two awesome kids to share them with! And, the whole family's into Mustangs--my son drives an 06, and my daughter (just turned 16) desperately wants one! Seems to think that since she's named Shelbi, she deserves to OWN a Shelby. It's tough, but doing the right thing's always worth it in the end. You've got your priorities straight. God bless!
Thanks for the feedback and i'm kinda feeling better about it. I drop it off on thursday night to it's new owners. The white car isn't quite paid off but I do have a daily driver ('04 f150 and '08 fusion "wifes") and it's driven on nice days and occasional trip to the track as the 95 was. I figure it'll be okay for a while but still not hte same as i've always had a push rod mustang since I was 16 and I made the promise to myself and my wife that I would not sell it and letting it sit would be fine and not cost me anything with the hopes that'll be there when i'm ready. Sad part is that I told my wife I would sell the s197 before selling the 95 and after much thought, the white car was more realistic for me to keep... We've been trying to conceive for close to 3 years now with many issues along the way which really sucks when your kinda young (25 and 22) and selling this will go towards round 3 of IVF. So thank you everybody for the wishes as we are also hoping everything works in our favor. I always keep my eyes open in the classifeds at fox bodies and sn95's so if the right deal at the right time ever comes up then i'd do it in a heart beat.
