GT H-pipe on Cobra (96)

anyone ever put a gt h-pipe on a cobra? I moved to california, so had to take off my o/r. I found one off of a 98 gt one ebay for $1 so I put it on. It took some heating and bending, and one of my 02 sensors had to be lengthened to fit. Anyone else ever done this? I had heard that they would bolt up, although I looked on a mitchell estimating system and its lists 2 diffrent part numbers ($2300 each by the way).
