I recently came across a gt500 guage cluster that im thinking about buying for my GT (black coloring, 160 speedo, SVT insignia, etc.). What would be involved in the install of this item? Do i need to have a pocket tuner to adjust the speedo/rev limiter? Also will the mileage and other car computer stuff be transferred correctly? Im not goin to install if i have to go to a dealer for any reason. Thanks

I transferee a cluster from a new car some years back and the mileage was stored on it because if it was stored in the ecu we would mess with it

Did anyone figure this out? I have a gt500 cluster for a GT, and am concerned I have to take it to a dealer for install.

You should be able to do it yourself, but remember you will most likely end up with a non-functional boost gage.
