Wow, pretty impressive numbers for the new H302 SC

From Carl Yarber at Team Ford

"ONE OF OUR TECHS, SCOTT LEVINE DYNOED THE 302 SC SALEEN THIS MORNING WITH THESE RESULTS: MAX HORSEPOWER 512.4 COMBINED WITH MAX TORQUE OF 473.8 THIS TEST WAS COMPLETED AT 10:17 AM, ON JAN 18, WITH TEMPERATURE AT 44 DEGREES F. THE NUMBERS SHOW ME THIS IS THE BEST CAR SALEEN HAS PRODUCED TO DATE."

    Those are great numbers.

    44 deg F.

Damn, We have not a even a night time low in over a year that low. I guess our So.Cal #'s would suffer a bit from heat soak even in the middle of the night.

Nonetheless, great numbers and thanks for sharing.

Also curious what type of dyno when I see data like this. 15% drivetrain loss equals to 588.8 flywheel horsepower, very impressive to say the lease. How long is the contract agreement for Saleen to have rights to the motor?

    Those are some good #s!

saleenster, what do you mean by this....."How long is the contract agreement for Saleen to have rights to the motor?"

From what I have heard, Saleen will be offering short and long blocks of these engines.

Actually by my calculations it equals to 602.3 flywheel hp.

    512 / .85 = 602.3 = badass car :D
