Took the GT to the guys over at Tillman Speed yesterday and threw her on the dyno. The guys over at Tillman Speed were great and after Chris worked his magic on the keyboard this is what she spun the rollers to. Not too bad for an intake and mufflers. Thank again guys! ~j
Those numbers are pretty good. im making 298/325 with modified S&B intake, pypes off-road x-pipe, and muffler deletes. the good news on your tune is that there looks to be no knock since there is little deviation and smoothing set to 0. did they play around with AFRs or just peg your car straight to 13.0 assuming that made the most power? also I didn't catch if you were manual or auto. Good numbers. A dyno tune is always ideal, driveability and part throttle power always increases. Just because everyone else is doing it ... I put down 298 rwhp and 314 rwtq with a C&L Racer with 88mm maf tube and VMP 93 octane dyno tune. Wow, that tq numbers is pretty damn high.
She's a Manual. Chris spent acouple hours adjusting the a/f, timing, etc to safely put those numbers up.
That's what they said at the shop. I made 319tq on one run and 325 on another. I think that maybe it has something to do with the way I have the VVT setup. And I'm only using 91 octane. I could probably make another 4 rwhp on 93 because then I could match the Spark Table to the MBT table.
Cool. It looks safe from a knock standpoint. That AFR should be safe too. I use a 12.85 WOT AFR because that made better power for me. Ford was commanding a sub 12.5 AFR which is a little richer than needed. Has your MPG improved any since the tune as far as your gauge goes? Mine has stayed the same after tuning (average 22.1mpg) but I know it all depends on where and how you drive it.
I took her to Tillman with 3/4 tank of Sunoco 93 and just filled her up this weekend, so I haven't had enough time to say. The last tank had the dyno pulls and a decent amount of 'spirited' driving, but still managed 19mpg. I'll repost when I get through this tank.
Just got back from Tillman and Chris managed to get 295rwhp and 312rwtq! That's up 8rwhp and 10rwtq just from adding the Prochamber midpipe! I'll post up the dyno sheet tomorrow.
