Handling Question

Currentlly have black 2006 GT legit 424 rwhp-487 flywheel horse at 6000 rpm, 440 lbs torque at 5350, (Dynapack Dyno, hooks up to axle.) fanblades maxed out at 255/40/18 all around. Want to go to black and chrome deep dish bullets, 18x9 front, 18x10 back, Will keep 255 kdw IIs on front, question is: How big should I go in back for optimum handling. Been looking at 295s, but wondering if that will throw my handling out of balance. Is bigger always better? What would be the optimim amount of rubber for straight line performance as well as road balance?
