I'm looking to upgrade my cars suspension but I want to make sure that everything I do will have the desired effect before I spend any money. Right now on dry pavement my car handles fairly nuetrally but when the roads are wet it oversteers a lot in sweeping turns.

I'm wondering if this is because the rear tires don't have enough weight pining them down or if it's because they are being overloaded with to much weight on a slick surface. So my question comes down to will adding a rear swaybar make my car more prone to oversteering or keep the rear end more planted to the pavement?

My car is a '99 V6 with the full stock suspension and no rear swaybar.
