Hard brakelines......Are they metric or standard?

Also are you supposed to ream the brake line before you double flair it? Or cut it and start flaring. It seems like the 5/16 fits but not after I ream it. There's alot of slop in it.

from the mc to the combo valve there both metric and standard.

i thought the hard brake lines were 3/16"not 5/16"?

for dbl flaring info even though it's not a stang.

My bad I meant 3/16.

I'm doing the rear brake lines. I bought some SS ones from classic tube. They sent me the wrong fittings going into the softline.
