I just noticed our emoticon I love to use, the guy peeling out through the gears, only has a 3 speed! Can we get someone on this? Need to upgrade him to a T5 please.
@stang89bidges where did you find the head porting instructions? I did not see them on EECTuning.org, only intake stuff. Did I overlook something?
yeah I went from there to EECTuning. Ill go back and check againDid you look at Tom (Tmoss') site? Think everything you need is covered there.

Edit - Is it the porting principals document? I was on the wrong site I think.

Ok, so here is some of the months worth of research I did before I even started porting. And I still dug into the CC's like an inexperienced idot... Just goes to show learning the hard way can sometimes be costly... But hey, sometimes I think I learn more this way...
TMOSS articles
He has a lot of different papers written on different aspects of an engine. A lot of flow data. A lot of material on what and why it works. I recommend reading them all that pertain to your car and what your trying to do. I wanted to understand the whole idea behind the lungs of our cars so I read most of the intake articles along with the head porting articles as well.
I think some of the ones your looking for could be the following:
1. EECTuning.org • View topic - Making Porting Templates
2. EECTuning.org • View topic - Porting Principals Techncial Article
But I recommend reading a lot more. There are some really good articles on the intakes as well that help explain the heads with the intake.
I quickly realized after reading them a couple times over that I almost don't even need to touch my intake because it's going to flow more air than the heads can handle, even after they are ported... But I am still going to touch them up a little. I imagine no 2 heads or intakes are alike.
FordMuscle has a really good article on this procedure along with other great information on rebuilding the stock 5.0. I actually purchased a subscription just to read the articles in full and let me tell you it was worth it for me because I got a lot of information off that site.

Some of the better video I found:
Powerblocktv has some good video on some procedures you will run into and some good techniques/ideas you can use. I'm a visual learner so this helped prep my work.

Other Misc sites I used during my research:
1. diyPorting.com
2. E7 Cylinder Head Ramblings - Why are they a restriction and not worth porting : Five.Oh Info
3. E7TE cylinder head project with pics
4. 5.0 Flow - Porting for Small Block Fords
Edit: I forgot to put another great resource out there. Pete's Garage! This guy is a little ADD but you can tell he is knowledgeable. I used his videos for more than just the porting project but he also has a nice little video on the subject.

Hopefully this helps anyone out there looking to port their E7 heads and stock intakes...
I've been reading a lot of these articles today. They're getting E7 heads and stock intakes to flow 200+ cfm which is insane. You could hurt some feelings running around with a "stock" top end.
