I have a 77 Cobra II original 302 V8 with stock exhaust, I would like a pair of shortie headers, ceramic would be nice. Any ideas?

No one makes shorty headers for II's. I'm running Hooker Super Comps, but they were around $400. I think your other option are Heddmans.

Yep headmans are about your only choice. They're really a pretty good fitting header. I just wish they'd come to realize that running the #1 tube under the chassis is totally un-necessary. I believe you can get both the Headmans and the Hookers in ceramic coat. No shorties are available for the Mustang II in any of the engines offered in the II.

My Hookers don't have any tubes running under the crossmember.

I found some long tubes on the web from a guy who bought them to go with his Mustang II front suspension (he realized he didn't need them). $100 and they are original in box, unused Ford Motorsport pieces. Still have the crappy #1 going under cross member though.

Just search the web or lay down $350 and buy some from O'Reilly's. If you look through their books they have them, and I called the company and they had them in stock 2 yrs ago. They are Black Jack or Hedmann's I can't remember, but they were in stock despite what everyone said.

No, the UT is for University of Texas (I go to the Med School here in Houston). I used to be '78cbII' a few years ago, but as the sight became updated over the years I guess my name and password were gotten rid of because I stopped posting.
