Let me fix your post for you...

I may be wrong but I don't think factory springs have a dampener with them (dual spring).

thank you very much much easeyer to see haha and what do you mean a dampiner i know this is childesh haha but the thing on the top of the spring the metal circular thing?

The dampiner, is basically it is the spring within the outer spring. If look closely at your spring you will see another spring inside the outer spring. The dampener is supposed to eliminate/reduce the spring harmonics at high RPM...

oh ok that makes sence i was kinda curious about that so what does that mean could i have a diffrent spring on there or diffrent what? haha im learning youll have to forgive me i realize it was clearly added if it is not a stock part but im just curious why someone would do it besides the higher rpm.. does that mean other things might be modified

by me having a grand i mean i have 1500 in the bank haha so im willing ot save the grand and work to surive the next month off of 500 dollers so i dont have the money to really buy anything yet and this is my daily driver...so im just kinda trying to figure out th emost cost efficiant way yet safe way to do this

so how do i know what type of springs the rest of them are and what size valve to get since i dotn know if its been changed or what..where can i look or is there even a way to look i can order a single srping form checker for a wopping 4 dollers or a expencive on for a whopping like 12 dollers and i can order valves from them for between 6 and 15 dollers and a felpro complete gasket set for 60 or i can buy them indavidually but in order to get it imedeatly your probably right with the machine shop idea does anybody have any idea for ones in arizona prefurbly the phoenix or tempe area

It looks like your valve spring snapped in two, and the top half curled down around the lowe half. This happened to my 289 a couple years ago. The valve went through the piston and the rod went through the cylinder wall. I still have a small chunk of piston with pieces of wrist pin, rod and valve protruding from it. I think you're lucky the valve didn't drop any lower than it did. If you can afford it I would replace all the valve springs. But, you can probably get away with just replacing the one spring.
