ok im posting this for a friend he currently has a 89 gt foxbody and his motor is junk and he has been looking for a motor for a week now i just happen to have a 87 lincoln town car 5.0 with 74,000 miles on it the motor was never beat it was givin to me from a 72 year old lady who bought it new in 87 im wondering if every thing off his motor will fit on this motor before we pull it out such as intake heads cam headers and tranny any help would be great

it will all work, but the block may need to be tapped for the roller cam.

If you swap the heads and cam, make sure he checks piston to valve clearance, especially if the Lincoln doesn't have relief cuts in the piston tops. Remember the pistons, rods an crank will be weaker. I nice upgrade is the mid to late 90's explorer. gt or gtp heads an better intake. Just use the gt's cam an valve springs.
