Alright, I am going to buy a new Air Temp. Sensor since I noticed when I did my ported lower swap, mine looked pretty crumbly...I also heard those CHEAP "Ebay 10hp+ mods" are just resistors that are spliced into the wires that go to the air temp. sensor on the lower intake. Any Electricains here know how to do this!? Not looking for any HP, but would like to try it anyhow~I figure it cant hurt...

Doesn't work, you just fool the puter into thinking the car is cooler. It'll run richer and with more timing.

As Jamie has said, not a good plan. The computer is smart enough to make the best power adjustments for most mildy modded cars. Too much fuel is just as bad as not enough fuel, you loose power.

If it's old i would just replace it. When I pulled mine out ti was in terrible shape, so I just replaced it. The parts store one was plastic. I guess it doesn't transfer heat as good, which can be good since oyu want the air temp not the intake temp.

FYI anything that fools the computer is not good.
