I am looking to paint my 5.0 this color, now I know its not a factory 87-93 color. I am thinking it may be true blue from the new edge mustangs? what do you think? or find me something very similar.
Dude, I'm going to say that looks real close to Royal Blue from 1993 (paint code LA) and also a lot like Twighlight Blue from 1990-1992 (paint code MK). Hope that helps get you started.
I'd like to see that in the sun, the new edge color closest to that is true blue, but true blue is a color that looks almost black in the shade and has a purple hue to it in the sun or under fluorescent light I'd guess its close to 1993 Twilight blue
The closest I can come up with is true blue metallic, twilight looks close too. My guess is true blue.
My first thought was Twilight Blue too, but the twilight on my 90 is darker than what I see in the original pictures.
My '92 is Twilight Blue too and it is significantly darker than the color he's asking about. It's about as close to black as you can get without being black. Like MuDDuQ's car above.
Posted via Mobile Device Alright so twilight blue is out...I want it to be dark but still look blue. does true blue have that purplish look to it? I'm trying to avoid that. I'm really frustrated trying to find something close to this. I look at a color at the chevy dealer yesterday called "imperial blue". It's on their 09's. Do you guys think that's close? I'll post pics when I get home.
Posted via Mobile Device Basically I want a dark blue but still have it be obviously blue. I don't want it so dark that it looks black and I don't want it to have a purpleish tint. If anyone has any suggestions I would appriciate it.
