If I had room I think that blown 6 would be pretty cool to own as is. Might not be the biggest kid on the block but a blown V6 is pretty cool.

ok this guy is definately out of his mind on the hemi comment.
but some of you guys are talking like your planning on buying it and need detailed info just to knit pick on his MUSTANG II..mabye it is worth 15000.
how do you know what he has got into it..seriously you dont know...
is there something wrong with trying to get top dollar for it..
some of you seem to be the mustang ii police like its illegal to sell above 10 grand..
i will say i wouldnt let my car go for under 10,000 but i dont ever plan on selling it..although if i did list it with ebay i would ask 15000 for my car too
and if it didnt sell i wouldnt care.. how do you know those arent his intensions. i think we should all list our cars on ebay for top dollar just to see if it would sell.. i will bet you would sell yours for 15k..
if your offended by this post to bad.. you should be out working on your own car, instead of knit picking another mustang II you have little info about..
one more thing i met the guys who built that red II back in the late 80s
which was over 15 yrs ago..is the owner crazy to ask 9000.00 for a 15yr old
tubbed coupe with a s.c.v6.. that isnt even ready for the road.
you can barely find a bottom line new kia or hyundai for under 15 grand.
arent they crazy for buying cheap japan crap......welcome to 2005..

I do know, as the II.net link above shows he purchased this car from Brad in CA it sold for around 10K and this guy hasn't changed a thing.

And when he started this auction his opening bid price was $22,000 and his responses to emails lead me to believe he's may be a bit tech'd in the hed.

At least the previous owner gives some actual engine specs, rather than "built with k&n"

I just think it's funny that I have asked this guy on several occassions for pictures of the interior / engine bay and haven't gotten a thing

I'm not one for personal attacks, but with what we've seen so far I believe this guy is a real dumbass. He's lied about a few things, too.

Anybody else think the guy is flipping out about the car now........bids are UP TO $600 bucks. Guess he just wanted to see what it would get up to. Hopefully he's now realizing that he needs to set his bong down and set a realistic price

You see this is the problem with people buying cars these days. Everybody is ignorant to some degree and they all are "gotta have it now" type fools. The moron who originally (or so is said) paid 10K for this blue bastid is a freakin idiot. It's not worth it...bottom line. The common misconception is that it's worth what he's into it. WRONG. It's worth what the market bears and if the market is swamped with deep pocket, gotta-have-it-now fools obviously the car will sell for more than theoretically what it should have. And when that happens others start putting their stuff on the market at the similiar foolish prices hoping to land one of these deep-pocketed morons too. And after that, unless the market has a dry spot, it just keeps going on and on from there. You want a good example? look at the 64-67 Mustangs.... they bleed this theory; For crying out loud.. there were hundreds and hundreds of thousands made!
At any rate, he wanted it and had to have it, at any cost appearantly. If reasearch was done properly and he was to take his time, he probably could have found one cheaper. And the clown selling it for 10k would have realized he might be a little pricey in relation to actual value. But noooooo he had to have "that one" and i'm sure "right then and there." So now he's gonna pay for his ambitious stupidity.
And you bet. If some retard wants to give me 10k or whatever for my junk, you think I'm gonna stop him...pfffffffft hell no. I'll take the cash and build another, and probably have money left for more upgrades or another project alltogether!

Yeah well, 9k may be cheap for that tubbed II but ITS NOT WORTH IT TO ME. That's a risk HE took putting 15-20K into a $500-$1000 dollar car. The engine is my only interest, and my value is soley placed on the engine alone as it's a one-off and it has it's limits too. I always question "tubbed" cars or radically altered cars just based on thier craftsmanship. The old man has a 'tubbed' '65 falcon and it really looked and run out well. However, with a closer look at it on a lift that tells a totally different story. And it did. Needless to say, we're re-doing/repairing it.

Everybody always asks me how i find all the good stuff, cheap. I just tell them to get educated, be patient and be willing to invest alot of time. :nice:

I have about $15,000 into my car at the moment, not counting all the previous engines and transmissions, etc that I've gotten bored with/destroyed/replaced over the years. I'd be lucky to get $6000 for it, if I found the right person. Everyone knows, or should know, that modifying hot rods(especially IIs, as they're not exactly the most popular Mustang) for fun is a horrible investment. (But it's still fun)
