I got a composite (fiberglass/carbon fiber) hood. I put it on and it wont line up perfect. Something with the latch adjustment i think. Everthing lines up perfect except the very front on the passanger side. It stays elevated just on the passanger end about 1/2-3/4 inch. I can push on it and it goes down, but it wont stay. And its not the rubber stopper because i turned that all the way down and it still is like that. The front edge of the drivers side sits perfect. If i try to move around and adjust the latch, i can get the passanger side front end to go down but then the hood wont shut because the driver side front end gets pushed over and onto the fender.
Is it just a trial and error process to align a hood, or is their a technique?
