I'm in need of hood pins, the ones i have i do not feel safe with seeing how someone could just flip em over... and they're butt ugly!!! What kind should i get? my cervinis hood already has the 4 holes drilled... and it looks like it needs a 2.5 inch scuff plate. if not bigger. What should i go with?

I used these: www.aerocatch.com, work excellent and they have a locking option. Plus the hole needed will be bigger than what you already have. So it is not like having to punch new holes in the hood, just elongate them.

Those are the same ones that I have and I would not order them again. :nonono: The pins rust and stain the plates. They're a pain in the ass to keep clean. I would look for a set that doesn't have this problem.

My car had those same ones when I got it. They weren't even attached to the core support very well. They went to the trash can.
