Just ordered the Pro-Comp 8,000 rpm tach w/shiftlight from AutoMeter. Also needed to order their tach adapter. Just wonderin' how hard of an install it is, and if it is something I can do. I don't mind paying a shop to do it, I
want to make sure it is installed properly and works correctly. I do most of my minor bolt-on installs myself, but this seems like it might be a little more involved. Thanx in advance. :D

It's not that tough to be honest.

You will grab the signal obviously from the tach adapter. Other than that it is power - dim if it came with it (which you tap into behind the dash) and ground it. It's been a while since I did mine but you should be fine.
