I have read that the stock A9L adjusts the injector pulse width to a certain extent, anyone got a formula? Looking for Perky, Rick91, Thumper, ED C, T-Moss or any other pro for advice.
The EEC will adjust pulse width for part throttle conditions to attempt to maintain the 14.7:1 stociometric target. It is widely held that the adjustment in pulse width is 25%.
The PCM always calculates pulsewidth. In closed loop it strives for Stoich or 14.7:1. In open loop and WOT it calculates based on longterm trim values it has collected in closed loop operation and the target values in the appropriate lookup table. Acceptable injector pulsewidth is 0-85%. Many variables contribute to the pulsewidth calculation a few are ECT, ACT, RPM, MAF and slew of multipliers and scalars.
