How to tell the # of spline on the input shaft with out pulling the tranny?

Was wondering how do you know if its a 10 or a 26 spline input shaft in the tranny with out pulling it? I would like to order my clutch kit before pulling the tranny so I can do it all in one day. It is a 1990 Gt 5.0 stock trans.Thanks.

T5 came stock with a 10 spline input shaft.

Tremec TKO, & TKO 600 came with a 26 spline input shaft.

Stock t-5 10 spline.. G force t-5 26 spline.. Most likely it's 10..
