Howling after 4cyl to 5.0 swap

update- I think I found the noise, I believe it was coming from the front wheels being badly out of alignment, each wheel (while the car was going straight) was pointing outward trying to turn separate directions and I think the noise I am hearing is from the tires squeeling... lesson learned. tonite i am going to set the tie rod ends the best i can til I can take it to a tire shop.
