I want to try to paint it myself. It's tricoat paint "laser red". After chipping the dead paint and sanding/bondo and prepping the localized area it's like the size of a base-ball. I am planning on borrowing my frind's air brush kit to "patch" the problem. From what I hear, only the base paint and the clear paint are really necessary. The middle coat can be made from a mix of the 2. -My question is, does anyone know the ratio for the mid coat, is it 50/50 base to clear? Thanx in advance.
