I Want To Make More Power!

So far I only have an M90 supercharger on my 06 gt, but I want more power. I know I am going to need to build another engine to do it. I am currently in the market for a shortblock which I will build up over the winter. Any ideas where to get one cheap?

My supercharger will also go onto this. What kind of power would I be looking at when I bore the 4.6 out to a 5.0, throw on a good set of heads and cams, and stroke it? And also what kind of money would I be looking at? Trying to keep it under $7k...

Upgrade the blower for now and you'll make some more power without going into the engine.

Most say that the stock block and internals are good for 450 or so. More than that you need to start forging.

It is not the block that is the issue, it is the connecting rod that are the usual failure. You are going to have a hard time getting all you want for under 7k. You can either do some upgrades to your M90 (CAI, 2.49" pulley, tune) or get a forged bottom end and put a TVS blower on it. There are other options, but those are some proven ways to get more power. You really don't need to increase displacement or get better heads, they are nice, but they will bust your budget.
