Automotion 2007, in Brockville, Ontario, was a huge success, although I didn't have my car there this year. I didn't mention much about it sooner because I've been so busy getting my own self together, and I ended up going to the show in a friend's 03 Cobra. Final count for cars was 785, of all types, but man, there was a crapload of mustangs for all the viewing pleasure you'd ever want to see..I'll get some pics together in a little bit, I've just been too lazy to go down to my truck and get the camera. Stephane showed up, had a great time, as well as some other Stangnetters, but next year, I'd like to see a few of the faces from this section of the boards...y'know, since we're pretty much family and all I know a few of you are very close (Urban96, 69Clark) and I'm pretty sure there's more than that. Brockville is right next to the border crossing between upstate New York and Ontario, less than an hours drive away from Urban's place. There's lots of old school amenities in this little town, and the show is probably in one of the best locations I've ever seen, directly on the water of Lake Ontario, lots of boats along the docks, tonnes of food and drink for the day, live music, and of course, some good old fashioned Canadian eye candy... (keep in mind that our population is about 1000 times smaller than you guys, so expect my idea of eye candy to be substantially uglier than your idea of eye candy) There was a few lookers, but I would suggest bringing some American help. I didn't get too many pics, but here's a few anyway Legit, and valuable Car was immaculate The Cobra I came in...this car is ridiculous...over 600 horses and a massive shot of nitrous... This was also ridiculous....I couldn't stop looking at it Another mint stang...nothing untouched on this car except for a coil wire...which we made fun of him for Superstang01 on the trip back and Stephane enjoying the breeze..man i love the stance on this car
Looks cool. Remind me next year though. lol I'll forget before then! BTW, the town I am originally from had less than 1000 year round population. That definately sucks sometimes.
