In-dash DVD/lcd touchscreen question....

    If im installing a DVD/lcd touchscreen in my car...would there be any benefit to keeping the cd/mp3 that is currently in there but moving it to the lower slot?

    also...does someone have a link or can someone inform me on how ot bypass the video lockout so passengers can watch videos while driviing?

    I think you just need to ground the VSS wire, that should overide that saftey thing.

    You do not ground the VSS wire. Most units have a "parking brake sense" wire that need to be grounded or see a pattern of pulses. Mine just gets grounded and its bypassed.

    If your adding a dvd, just remove whatever was in there since the new should play MP3's too.

    iskwezm is right, it should not be the VSS wire, but the parking brake.
