My temp gauge stopped registering the other day. After a full day of diagnostics and searching, the technician finally settled on the instrument cluster (a small computer-like box) that relays signal from the sensor to the gauge. He said the sensor is good and sending dignal to the cluster, but the signal is not reaching the gauge from the cluster. 2) Is there a cheaper source for such a part? I've thought about salvage, but I am told that it must be programmed with my mileage. Any ideas?
