Alright, asked a guy on SVTPerformance to "HDR" a picture of my car. It's not true HDR but those will come in summer time. Let me know what you think. Original "HDR" Style
Honestly I like the first one better. The hdr one is just darker and the wheels are brighter, which makes the wheels not match the paint as good.
I like the fact the second one washes the background out, which to me stood out too much. The tint, umm... 35%? I had it done years ago.
i love the second one....somebody else just had a thread with this HDR program/camera what ever it is and i think its awesome!
It doesn't have the POP like an HDR should, but I noticed a few things that stick out a little more in the second pic, like the rims and front caliper. Truly beautiful car though, you could take a pic of in mud and it would look good!
HDR is a noun not a verb. And I told you they suck, they're just a fad I'll see if I can do an HDR of one of those pics I already took of your pile.
I like the second one. Takes a lot of the background brightness out of the photo, so you focus more on the car and less on the background. It also slightly gives the effect of the sun going down before sunset or a clould passing by the sun.
Thats why I quoted it, using it way out of it's intended context. Plus you will be doing some real ones come spring time anyway. I don't care if you don't like it. Not sure on the mud, or if I plan to let it see the mud for that matter! But you never know.
I'M picking the location out next time.... none of this crap next to the woods during target practice again.
I like the second one. Hey 25th I have the march 08 MM&FF magazine and you car is in it. Its a small pic of you racing.
LOL, yeah a little creepy, but what can you do right? You got some good places now? Down by the water, highway shots, what are we thinking here? Yeah mouse, it was for FFW. Thanks for the heads up!
i say u need to find some one with ps and have them do some contrast adjustments those 9 times out of 10 look awesome but i like the second one
It's a trend but i love the HDR effect. When it's pulled off just right it really makes a picture pop. I also like to black and white the background and leave the car in full color...makes for a cool contrast.
