i found an 80mm Pro-M mass air meter calibrated for 24# injectors for a decent price and was wondering if this would be considered too big for my application? can i run "too big" of a meter? i'm rebuilding my motor with clevite 77 main and rod bearings, durabond cam bearings, power seal rings, felpro gaskets and ARP bolts on the internals. pretty much stock motor:

306 balanced and blueprinted
ross forged pistons
crane 1.6 rr's
cobra intake
65mm tb
24# injectors
cai
u/d crank
long tubes
2.5" o/r H pipe
spintech prostreets
4:10's

thanks guys!

I've heard both ways. I've heard no it's never too big and I've heard it compared to sucking water thru a straw (stock), and then trying to suck water through a hose pipe(80mm).

I have a 76mm C&L and a 70mm Accufab TB on my stock car and it helped a lot! :nice:

alright, i just got it and of course, AFTER i just bought it i have a few concerning questions. first off, here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...E:B:EOIBSAA:US:11&viewitem=&item=300107251759

my questions are, i hear pro-m's are individually calibrated for specific cars or something like that, am i going to have to send this in to PMAS and have them reprogram or calibrate this for me? auction says it's calibrated for 24# injectors and i have those but...? also, i was reading the product descripion for this sensor on coolblueperformance.com (http://www.coolblueperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=252) and it says this can't be used with a cold air system. am i going to have to take off my cold air to use this sensor? thanks again!
