A couple days ago when I was giving my brother a ride in my 02 GT, he noticed that when my car is idling, instead of the rpms staying the same, they slightly go up and down (maybe <100 rpms). Is this a problem or anything harmful?

No, it's pretty normal...especially with the AC on. :nice:

I had this problem (especially noticable when the car was in drive sitting uphill) with hunting idle. I'm guessing if it gets any worse (mine triggered the SES light) it's your Idle Air Control valve.. it's cleanable or better yet replaceable @ Autozone or perhaps Advance Auto..
