    man if he gets $39K just think what the value of ours will be! :-0 Seriosuly, no way of telling without having the VIN checked through Saleen but either way, he will NEVER get $39K from anyone that isn't on drugs.

    No way in hell. It would have to be a museum piece with less than 1,000 miles on it and perfect for anyone to even pay high 20's for it now.

    It's not even believable. Missing wheel caps and Magnum P.I. fog lights. What's the hell going on there? Next thing we will hear is it's a factory wheel cap delete car and the fog lights were special PIAA option.

    Anyway, MSRP on that car new was around $27,900.

    There was a time when I naively thought I could get $35K for my original owner, low mile '89 Saleen to recoup the original purchase price plus the costs of all of the modifications I'd installed.

    Then I sold it for $14K a few years later.

    Reality bites. :eek:
