Well,
It took me three months (and well over $300), but I've finally found what's wrong with my '87 LX. It's a combination of a junk battery and the fuel pump. I went and got a new pump ($109) and tomorrow my dad and I are going to put it in. Then all it will need is an $80 battery and new fuel tank straps and it'll be good to go. Thanks to all the people who have given me such good advice the last three months, with out all of you, I would have given up hope long ago.
