Here is a sound clip of JBA's exhaust on an 05 Mustang. The recording isn't very good because it was raining - but you can get the idea. The new cars have a different sound from the earlier modular cars. This system has JBA's 2-1/2" chamber style mufflers

Thanks. The wheels are 18" Intro Pentias. You can see a nice side shot of the car at JBA Website

that is mean, just plain mean. That's the sound that says "Momma, take your kids off the streets, the boys are out to play tonight." I like it.

Sounds like it has the "HANGING RPM" problem, too. I like the sound a lot. Have any of you guys that have purchased the '05 already had the hanging RPM's issue? Not that it bothers me (I have had it on them all so far '00, '01, '02, '04) but it sould be nice to see it fixed without having to use a homemade restrictor plate.

:nice: . I was going to add Flowmasters to my ride, but that clip might have changed my mind.

The thing I dont like is how gradual the acceleration and deceleration of the engine .

Maybe its the "throttle by wire" but it seems there is no "BAM" when the throtle is pressed or depressed, just a gradual rise/fall in RPM.

The gradual rev and deceleration of the engine and the hanging rpm are both side effects of the emission controls and the factory engine managment. By design they are working to minimize the emissions of the engine and to keep the engine from being hurt in a "free rev" situation.

Maybe it was the quality and the rain, but it sounds weak and tinny  just my opinion though. I can't wait to hear magnapacks and mostly SLP
