. . I can't wait til Diablo has a tune for the K&N. The I'll get a Predator.[/QUOTE] don't hold your breath,I don't think one is coming.I e-mailed diablosport a few times on this and recived no replies.
I'm going with the C&L- it getting very good reviews and the provided tune was made specifically for it... BTW, call these guys for a good price: http://www.lightningforceperformance.com/home.php
C&L with the predator tune - you can really feel it in the butt -o- meter, I havent dyno'd to know the true change. But it obvious. RPM http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gt.htm was a good deal - thats where I got my set up.
C&L with SCT tune. Picked up 20 rwhp. No timing and 89 octane tune. Dynoed 265 baseline and 285 after tune. C&L leaned out the AF a lot so a tune was absolutely necessary. I wouldn't put any CAI on without also tuning the motor. Period. K&N or C&L.
I am thinking about going with the LTs and Prochamber what kinda difference have you seen and how is the sound (A clip would be nice)
I have not been to Jenro's since back in tha day! Maybe 10 years or so. Is there a weekly gathering on Saturdays? If so... that would be cool to stop by tonight.
yeah head up there its a pretty cool place and a friend of mine will be up there in a 05 silver GT I have duty so I will have to wait till next week
JLT hands down. I have met him and he is a stand up guy. His kit works. And it is definitely dyno proven. DTP does great work and are the only peopel I would trust with my car. My dad and I do business with them and you won't find more knowledgeable or trustworthy people. JLT + DTP is a no brainer.
people start to get there around 3:30 and stay till around 7-8, you should try to make it up there next week I will be there for sure.
I'm also looking at JLT but what are the numbers? C&L with a tune posts around 20 HP, steeda and SCT had 26 HP. JLT looks sexy as hell under the hood, but what are the gains. That's all I care about.
Jay at JLT says expect 25-35 RWHP. The average I've seen advertised for C&L is 27 RWHP. . Those numbers are, of course, with a tune.
