Saw this news item today. Apparently to be a florist in Louisiana, you have to past a state test in which 50% of the applicants eventually fail. The really funny part is that the examiners of the tests are existing florists! The news had mentioned that getting a hunting license is easier to get! I wonder what it takes to be a bartender or a barber in that area .
So getting a license to use a firearm in the outdoors, which if proper safety precautions are not used could result in someones death, is easier to get then a license to cut and sell flowers? That's just sdrawkcab-ssa!!!!
sounds like a pretty good way for the existing florists to ensure they don't get too much new competition.
