Here's mine on the day that I bought it back in 2000. It had a Turbo 4 cylinder and 4 speed. Here it is today.
Here you go. This car was rough one owner but sat rotting for 5 years. Got it in August 05 and finally got it started. Had to change the fuel pump and give it a tune up. THen the OD gear was destroyed so had to rebuild the tranny. Now she is getting there. anyway here are my before and afters.
here is my $200 wonder as it was when i got it a week ago havent done much to it except get it driveable and drive the wheels off of it
Hissing i think yours is one of the most dramatic transformations on the whole site I don't have an "after" yet...mine is a constant work in progress
hissin...ur car reminds me of my 1st car that i bought, not a hand me down from the parents.....a 79 cobra turbo 4 speed...no options, no ac, vinyl seats that didn't recline, am/fm with 2 dash speakers, black with tan interior. those blue seats in ryan's blue vert look like the ones i threw in the dumpster 2 years ago! same color an fading. i picked up some gray leather gt seats for 30 bucks an dyed them black.
Before / after the engine bay project Engine began 100% stock to the air filter but here it is a couple years ago vs. now: Stock w/Cobra R's vs. now: Old 95 Cobra R rims w/73mm calipers & drilled/slotted stock replacement rotors vs. Bullitt swap & 99 Cobras the old interior look vs. more white worked in for a better flow (IMO anyway!): I think that's about it
Back in the dizzay As of today, with new eibach pro competition springs in the front, stock in the back. I did the back tonight, so tomrrow I'll clean her up and snap some good pics that aren't from a phone
yeah its gonna be a work in progress for quite some time...im debating on swapping out the bumper covers for LX pieces....cant find any GT pieces around here for what i can afford( under $100 for both) so im gonna do what i can do i guess
