Hye guys,
I am trying to install an amp and subs into my original 1999 gt vert with the mach 460...
I have been going by this...
http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/despeeds1.htm
The only quesiton is, is that i do not have that top rack, because it is a vert... I took the back peice off in the trunk and i found two stock mach 460 amps, with two plus in each... One small and one large.
Each one, on the big plug has a black wire with white stripes and a black one with green stripes... Positive and negative... two wires on each amp, Not 4 in one little clip like the mustangworld one says.
what i am thinking is taht i need to splice into the 4 wires like it says... A right amp and a left amp with two wires in each (black with white and black with green stripes).
Then wire them ( 4 wires, two positive and two negative into the line converter)...
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-6IIxCi2...rter&i=142SLC4
Then be able to take my audio/video cables from the line converter into the amp and get the subs powered...
DO you guys know if this will work, its kinda like what they say but a little diff...
Any input would help guys, Thanks a lot and i appreciate it!
~Nate
