the tach needle bouncing up n down, do u mean the car will surge and eventually die out from surging? and is it possible that would cause a 546 dtc code?
what happens to most prople when their pip goes bad is that the car just randomly dies when it is fully warmed up, usually at the most inopportune time. then after letting it sit a while and the dizzy cools down a little, it runs again.
