My windows go down all by themselves after about 3 seconds from shutting the car off. I have taken the key fob battery out already to see if it was malfunctioning and it still happens, what the hell? HELP quick its raining in Texas 3 or 4 times a day and for at least the next week the same thing.

if i recall, ther was a problem with the smart junction boxes getting wet in the rain, causing the windows to roll down. pull the pasenger side kickpanel off and look for moisture. i think it was caused by lack of sealer in the cowl.

Big Cat, here are the pics of that kick panel area, no moisture but it looks like a boot that goes through the firewall is opened up. Take a look.

and the area above the panel

Take a look at this video of exactly what i mean.

You most likely have a SJB problem. In your PM to me I did not see those pics.

We have been having a lot of problems with these smart junction boxes, just the other day we had a brand new 07 that needed one before it was delivered to the customer

But you may want to try that tsb I told you about to see if it works before you bring it in to the dealer. here is the tsb
