Hello everyone. New to the Forum. Just picked up a 78 coupe 302 4 speed. Looking forward to getting it back on the road. Sanding and buffing brought some shine back . Still lots of blemishes. But solid. Next is motor mounts. Rebuild mounts or new parts geek ones. ?

The mounts Parts Geek lists all appear to be incorrect for a Mustang II (not an uncommon issue online). Brett McHugh makes some amazing rebuild kits for them, and I believe there's an online vendor that sells either his kit or a knock-off of it.

Welcome to the site, be sure to check out the II forum, we've got a handful of interesting build threads going over there (feel free to start your own if so inclined).

Thanks for the parts geek clarification i just ordered from classic reproductions their kit. Looks like Bretts kit. Couldn’t find Brett on the net. Any difference in manual trans mounts? Found parts geek and others had them fairly cheap. Thanks for info

Engine mounts are the same for both transmissions.
