    I don't blame you for not wanting hack up your car if it is super clean. See I'm starting with a car that was ready to be crushed and gone forever! So it doesn't bother me at all to cut this and weld that..

    yeah I got my issue yesterday, if I could get my hands on a gt500 motor... alot of good info, Hotrod a few months back had a 96-98 dohc cobra swap into a 83 vert with a part's list!.

    The modular conversions section of modular fords is pretty good, yes it moves slow, but it's going to no matter what site it's on, it's about 50% real modular swappers and 50% tire kickers feeling out how worth it it will be to do a mod swap.
    There is also modularfox.com.
    Curiosity runs high for these projects but actual swappers do not.
    IMO, don't bother trying to duplicate the modular conversions section from their site, because that section of the site will sit idle most of the time.

    Yes, I saw that Hot Rod issue! That was a cool swap. I am getting deep into my mod fox, and I didn't realize how much the authors leave out of the story. They don't tell you a fourth of what you have to do to make this all work. I found out by just trial and error and I am using all salvage parts. My goal is to buy NOTHING new or aftermarket for this car...So far...So good!!
