Nice house! I recall seeing another thread when you had first purchased it that showed a steep driveway. How's the car make it up?

Also, that TV is screaming to be wall mounted above the fireplace mantle. :nice:

    Wow, very nice Brian! Congrats.

I agree, I've been trying to talk him into it. Should be a thread soon with video. I added a bit of my own fine craftsmanship :nice:

Off topic: have Josh and Brian ever raced black LX vs. two tone LX? That's a race I'd like to see. I've heard you guys both have the driver mod done to your cars. :D

The house looks killer by the way, Brian. Congratulations!

I kind of always wanted to but it never happened. My car is stock motor so I know what the outcome would have been I just would have liked to know how bad. Now on the street with me on my slicks and Brian on 18" street tires would be a good time :rlaugh: But we'll never know. Broke the t5 again yesterday

    Thanks guys...

The bonus room is getting a balcony overlook into the great room, as well as a bar and a pool table. :D

Already redid the formal living room, front hall, stairs and second floor hall. Got crown molding over the weekend, once I have my fake miter box made, will be cutting and putting that up. Most likely going to hit the dining room next, wainscoting, crown etc...

Yeah Josh and I never went at it. On the street it probably wouldn't be a terrible race. I have run some 13 second cars before and I don't just walk away from them. Toss those slicks on and I would be playing big time catch up.

Mines down also, rear end is loose and making a ton of noise. I guess throwing the 31 spline carrier and axles in without the right shims would cause that, :D.

Here is the garage with no lights
    [IMG]
Here it is with all the lights on, i suggest putting as much light in there as you possibly can. Ive got tow 8' of the brightest balasts i could buy for the walls, which was under 150 for everything, and a 6' that my uncle gave me cause he had no use for it.

Looks nice, and don't worry about the pictures, I like seeing them.

I plan to light the garage up big time. A friend of mine is a good electrcian and I'm sure in due time he will be at the house putting lights up.

thats cool, me and a friend of myne did it, took probly like 3 hours to do it, we just tapped it into an exsisting outlet from a lightbulb in the cieling. I just had the house/garage insulated for my favorite price and im gonna pick up a little wall mounted heater that will tap right into the houses gas source so i can start tearing into the car this winter

Heated Garage FTW. My father has about 1200 SF of heated garage at his house, made working on my car nice. I will look into it down the road!

I found this heater for $170, heats 1000 sq ft, so it will be plenty for my 1 car. Its a sweet change of pace from clearing snow off of a tarp on the car, then working on it.

Thanks, I really like the house, just a little 1200 sq. ft L ranch with a decent yard and a finished basement. Nothing like you or 25th's house but its perfect for me, easy to keep clean, and nice and quiet, 10x better than living with the rents.

I been meaning to ask my gramps if he will let me buy some batts for your garage, I'll ask him sometime this week, mabye we can get it done within the next couple of weeks if you still wanna do it.

In college I lived in a house with an uninsulated garage that I would run 3 electric space heaters to keep the place warm while I turned wrenches. On really cold days, I would pop the circuit breaker about every 2 hours, haha.

Yeah no heat = no working on cars for me anymore. Done that too many times.

I plan to insulate, heat and even AC the garage... :D Just a nice window unit, but will be really nice when detailing peoples cars!!!

Nice pad Brian. Everything looks great. Nice dog too. Looks like mine but yours has longer hair. I have a Hound/Lab/Viszla mix. We adopted him, but that's what he looks like. He's tall, long, skinny and 65lbs. That's great your get the 8K first tim home buyer money in return. I wish I would have waited...:(
