I did that on my 2005 except I left the stick-on letters as they were and moved them a bit closer together than they were back in the 60s and 70s. I also put Ford on the front of the car.
I have thought about doing it to my 2007 but haven't yet.
    What does everyone else think?
  3. kooldawg6 mine works really well and can take a fair amount

    Looks great lightblade:nice:

stan-I don't think I'd like "FORD" on the hood:shrug: If you like it, then that's all that matters:nice:

I saw a car @ Hooter's car meet Sunday with the "F O R D" across the tip of the hood. Not my style to add badges to my car but looked cool.

I did Mustang on the rear and Ford on the front more than two years ago.

??? I didn't say I invented the mod, or that I am the only one to ever do it ???
I'm just sharing my pics of how it looks on my car.

I saw a grabber orange pony with the chrome lettering and liked the way it looked. And since ford left out the usual bumper "mustang gt" impression, i decided to buy it. Then we i got them i decided to paint them black to see how they would look, i think it came out great and im 100% satisfied

    Hey light,

I believe that BlackRod was making that comment at ShowYa's comment. No need to be on edge, it looks great.

Wel I personally could tell it was a Mustang from the tail lights even without the lettering.

Well, Yeah. :) But I would rather see someone tastefully differentiate and personalize their Stang from the 300,000+ other Stangs on the road.

    Sweetie I still luv ya.

Let it never be said I would miss the chance to be a SA. I think the Mustang is only rivaled by the VW Beetle for having more aftermarket options.

that looks good! its something you wouldn't realize is aftermarket unless you were comparing it to one without. did you use a template or just measure it out really carefully?

I put the m and g on first just using the calibrated eye lol, then i used a tape measure to get the distance between the letters and divided by 6, then placed a small dot with a marker on where to center it and just use my eyeball to make level up and down wise with the other letters. worked out pretty good as I am symettricly picky lol:nice:
