Nice work. If you want to add some technical steps between the pics and add it here, I would love to throw it into the Technical Write-up thread.

Do you want me to post it on this thread, or start a new one in technical write-up?

When you get it done Rideredder, go ahead and post it here. I can clean this up or transfer the content to a new thread before it goes in the technical write up section.

Thanks for doing this. This is one of those items people think about and rarely ask a question on, so it will be nice to have.

The take care of your voltage drops, you should upgrade the factory grounds to the battery. You should use the same size wire that was used for the main power run, 1/0 from batt to block to chassis. Don't forget that the voltage must produce a "loop" back to the ground so it is just as important to upgrade your ground as it is to provide a good power run. You may also want to upgrade to alt to batt wire as well.

Yeah I know all about that. "Big Three Upgrade" is what they call it. I need to get some more ring terminals before I do can do it. I'm only running the amp at 600wrms at 2 Ohms so i'm not real worried about it right now, but when I start running it at 1000wrms at 1 Ohm, i'm deffinately going to upgrade the alt wires.

That amp is still pulling some high currents. I would upgrade the grounds and check that all connections are solid.
