    2005 Ford Mustang GT

    18" rims
Front and rear bumpers (not sure what kind they are)
dealership said previous owner did suspension upgrade, but not sure about that
    shaker hood scoop

Havent had time to go outside during the day and take photos, but this is the one which was on the dealerships website.

I'm thinking the first upgrade will be an SCT3 tuner to increase performance and gas mileage... not sure what's next - this is a daily driver and will stay N/A. Any suggestions?

Very big improvement over the '99 Mustang, can't seem to slide the read during a 90° turn like I used to be able to - but I guess that's okay and will help keep my tires longer.

Driving home I noticed I was doing 100mph, which I thought was 80, but I could see the hood shaking kinda bad... it only seems to do that at 85+ and I'm guessing its because of the shaker hood scoop..?

Hood shake is pretty common with these cars at high speeds. Get some hood pins if it bothers you. I personally like the Shelby set the best and you can get them with or without the shelby logo on them.

I like it, nice and clean. :nice:

The front bumper is from a California Special/Shelby GT so I'd guess the back is, too. Looks like they added the side scoops as well.

mine shakes so bad that it has caused the primary latch to fail three seperate times, and that is after i made the dealership replace the latch and adjust everything. thank heaven the secondary latch caught the hood. my shelby hood pins will be here monday.

    nice looking ride:nice: :nice:

Looks good. Those are the GT/CS bumpers and side scoops. They also changed the wheels (those were not available in 2005) and side badges as well. Nice windveil :nice:

very nice car...As far as mods I'd start with an axle back exhaust then an SCT tuner/cold air kit combo from any of the popular companies you might here of...Brenspeed, Evolution Performance, etc. Then go from there. Good luck

I think shaker hood (or is it shakey hood) is standard on these cars. The shaker scoop is extra. :rlaugh:

I hope you enjoy your car as much as the rest of us do. Very nice car.

Sharp looking ride with the CS components on the WB:nice: I also like how well the tribar pony emblem looks with the color as well. If they did suspension upgrade, I have no idea what springs they would'veused since it still appears stock:shrug: It shouldn't be to hard to find out if they are stock components or not being that most OEM parts are black and have a sticker tag on them.
All my mods haven't hurt my daily driving capabilities at all, even at 41K miles:nice:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments and replies. I've fallen in love with this car already - it drives real smooth and girls notice it real good :) hehe . Hood pins are going to be on the "to do" list.

Thank you for letting me know what front bumper it has, I enjoy the look, but not so happy about the ground clearance.... I think I've already scraped it at the bottom on a curb.

kooldawg6: My '99 GT had super-40's as the only mod, and it sounded great. How do your flows sound on your car? I'm thinking I might go in that direction with this one.

I noticed the rear (gas-cap where the '66s had it) says California Special on it as well... I'm guessing this is just apprearance and nothing significant as far as performance or uniqueness?

Steedman07: where those hood pins hard to install? I don't want to mess things up. On my '66 I can mess up and fix it - but with this one I want it to be a hit the first time around.

It is a faux cap stuck on with adhesive and I believe it may have an alignment hole or two as well.
I have a plan in the works for mine...hehehehehe:D

The rear faux gas cap emblems:
The V6 has the tribar pony emblem
    The GT has "GT"
    The Shelby GT has "GT"
    The GT500 has the Cobra
    The Bullitt has "Bullitt"
The Roush has "Stage 1,Stage 2, Stage 3"

Hey, nice lookin ride :nice:. I have had a CDC Shaker for about 3 years or so and never had any hood shake at 120 mph+. There must be some other reason for the hood movement.

Good luck with the new ride...
