I'm building a 347 right now with the stock block, cast crank, forged I beam rods, and forged pistons. I'm hoping to get 400rwhp NA, but I know thats not going to be enough. What should I do to push that up to at least 450rwhp? I was thinking about nitrous oxide, but I've never used it before and I don't really know if I would like it.

I've got the rotating assembly, the block, got the custom cam, headers, and the rest is already planned.

What heads are you going to use to get 400rwhp out of a 347?

The CNC'd 205cc Trick Flow's from Summit Racing. I'm also going to have a Victor EFI Intake manifold, 42lb/hr injectors, 1 3/4 Long tubes to 2.5" for the rest of the exhaust, and a nice healthy tune with my tweecer.

How high are you going to spin that thing? I don't see 400 out of that. But I could be wrong.

Well the cam is designed with a power band from 2800-5800, but I'm not saying that I'm going to get 400rwhp...I'm just wishing that I'll get as close as possible, while still keeping it a daily driver.
