Need Help ASAP

Abbreviated version: I decided to bypass the mach 460 crap in my 2000 gt. I had the harness adapters now i just want to use the power/ground/remote harness and run the speakers off the head unit(aftermarket pioneer). I figured this would be easy because ive done it to other cars before, not mustangs though. So ive got the front two speakers wired directly to the head unit now and there is no sound, I need help badly i have the entire car torn apart and i work at 4, thanks in advance.

If youve wired the speakers directly to the the STOCK head unit,you wont get any sound because it a non powered head unit.

you apparently stopped reading the post somewhere in the middle because he said he has an aftermarket Pioneer.


To answer the post, im not too sure why you dont have any sound. it may be the mach messing with things that i dont know about, considering i have a 91 stang. I have my rear speakers wired directly to my head unit and they work fine.

Did you get the speaker wires before they go into the MACH amps or after.if its after,they have no signal,maybe its the wrong speaker wires????
