I need to know the wire colors and designations for the driver side front running light/turn signal. I've got to install the pony fog light this afternoon and need to get started within the next 20 minutes. Aut store did not have a Hayes or Chilton book :( . did not "search" because dial-up suck azz.

I need the continual power lead wire to the side marker lights. So that when I turn on the "parking lights" the aftermarket fog lights will come on. Which color is it? My guess is the white wire with the red stripe??

From visual inspection and testing, It's the white wire with the red stripe.

EDIT: It is NOT the white wire with the red stripe

The side marker lamps have 2 wires, a black (ground) and a brown (feed wire) on the right front. The left front has a black (ground) and a white/red (feed wire). I wouldn't run fogs off of that low amp circuit.

    Never Mind but Thanks Anyway

I've got them hooked up, but not the way we wanted. I Powered the lights from the power distributon block in the engine bay with a 20 amp inline fuse and relay. I grouded the lights to the body with the same factory grounds to the left of the radiator. The relay is switched and powered by the red wire with the white stripe, behind the light controls on the dash. All works as it should.

I was trying to get the lights to be switch controled by the power source to the side marker lights. However when I tapped the white wire with the red stripe, the result was that the fog lights would be on when the marker lights were off and the fog lights would be off when the marker lights were on. But all this is rrelevant now since I have them installed with a switch inside the car right next to my light dimmer control switch.

late monday I will be able to answer this for you. I am away for the weekend way up in the woods of maine right now. The computer I am using here is too slow for the ford website that I use for wiring diagrams and other service books.

I'll have to see about saving those on Tuesday. I'm at home for the holiday weekend and am stuck with 48.8 dial-up because we don't get cable or DSL out here and I'm not about to take out a second mortgage to pay for sattelite. Thanks for the input however.
